iToy history
2004 iToy is established in Lauterbach / Hessen by Michael Radzio. Initially toys were sold in secondary markets, for others, over time their own products were developed and sold under the label iToy.
2009 iToy has been extended to the new area of consulting, consulting and sales support for international manufacturers.
2011 iToy consulted as sales agency of Famosa some customers in Germany for the brands Famosa and Feber.
2014 iToy was acquired by Ralph Thielert. There was the move to Lichtenstein / Saxony and the realignment of the company: iToy will in future not develop own products anymore, but act exclusively for third parties as partner.
Thorsten Wild has already been won to restart as head of IT, logistics and accounting. Besides working as a sales agency for Famosa also Panini became a new client of iToy. In the area of consulting, an interim mandate was adopted for Spin Master Germany.
2015 the changeover was done to the new concept: sales agency and distributor from one source. iToy takes over the distribution of Famosa throughout Germany and Austria with additional another sales territory. With Berg Toy Vienna a reputed sales agency for the marketing in Austria is recruited.
Simultaneously iToy acts as exclusive distributor for Globe Edutainment with Vipo Land plush and OppTalk board games. The distribution of Panini Books will be extended to retailers.
Concomitantly opened iToy own warehouse at KDG medialog in Stanzach for retailers. For the brand Feber the concept of third-party delivery (Drop Ship) is introduced, products sold through retailers are delivered directly to the consumer by iToy.
iToy is contract supplier of duo schreib & spiel, EK Service Group, idee+spiel and Vedes-Spielzeugring and introduced in April for the first time on the duo Entrepreneurs Forum in Berlin and the EK Fun in Bielefeld.
In August iToy became exclusive distributor for Plastwood.
